We make films with and about people.

We work with artists, community organisations, local authorities, schools and arts funders.

Our films are used as promotion, support to performance, installations and information.

Previous Projects Include

'everything stopped' - a film commissioned by The Arts Council and The Gulbenkian Foundation looking at the use of the arts with excluded pupils through a groups experience of a 3 week intensive contemporary dance project in North London.
This film is being freely distributed nationally and if it is of professional interest we can put you in touch with the distributors.

'The Academy' - a 2 year documentation of the first full time dance academy for young offenders in Bradford for Dance United.

'Sefton French' - Documenting the implementation of modern foreign languages into primary schools at 7 schools in Sefton

'Leap 08' - filming of the annual Leap Dance festival in Liverpool

'Light Hearted Leaps' - an intergenerational dance project with primary school children and care home residents in Cheshire.

'Look Hear' - A promotional documentary for the Walker Art Gallery and Fuse theatre following a project which aims to interest young people in the gallery by taking a play about characters in the paintings into after school clubs

'Anima' - Multi-cam shoot of Momentum theatre's new work which will be edited into full length and short promo versions to support their upcoming tour booking.

'Growing Older Disgracefully' - working with choreographers Manny Elmsley & Jude Bird on a collection of dance for camera works with an mature group of women dancers

'International Slavery Day' - Document of Liverpool museums celebrations for this years slavery remembrance day.

'Forecast' - A dance for camera piece titled 'At Nine Months' created with Penny Collinson, Anna MacDonald and Mark Whitelaw.

'Gallery' - Projections to accompany an improvised dance piece for Ch4pter performed at The Bluecoat Arts Centre and Open Eye Gallery.

'Framed & Schuht' - Two dance films created with choreographer Manny Elmslie and performed by the Growing Older DisGracefully Dance Co.


Current Projects Include


'Destino Eastleigh' - We are making a 5 min promo for Eastleigh Borough Council to promote the creation of a Dance Academy modelled on Dance United's Academy in Bradford

'Destino' - We are working with Duet Pictures to make several 3min internet films and a 52 min documentary for film festivals and broadcast. The project follows the creation of a dance performance which combines work by top choreographers and dancers working alongside community groups. The project culminates in a performance at Sadlers Wells.

'Sing Out' - We are working with BAFTA award winning composer Bill Connor to create multi projections to complement a concert by 4 community choirs from Halton, St. Helens, Sefton and Knowsley

'Blood Wedding' - We are creating a promo for this new theatre piece for Cut to the Chase.

'Sefton French 2' - Children & teachers at Sefton primary schools directed at tour of their school and area. The films will be narrated in French by the children and will remain as a resource for other classes to narrate in any language.

'Fuse Theatre' - We are currently working on several projects from documentation of their work in schools to co-delivering a creative partnerships schools project.

Facilities

We shoot on Full High Definition (1920 1080) or (HDV 1440 1080)) or Standard Definition (DV) and are happy to tailor the production to suit the available budget.

We have a full High Definition edit suite in house and can take your production all the way through to the final duplicated DVD.
